Configuring Outbound Email from ServiceNow to Gmail

I have successfully integrated my Gmail account with ServiceNow, allowing incoming emails to trigger events within ServiceNow. Now, I want to send emails from ServiceNow to my Gmail account. Will this work by default, or is additional integration required on the ServiceNow side? How can I configure ServiceNow to send emails to my Gmail account?

Hi @alavalapati sai 

 

If you set up the email server (SMTP/POP3), you’ll be all set to send and receive emails from PDI. To test, create an incident and add your name in the caller field, ensuring the caller has your email ID. You should then receive an email from SN.
