Hello,
Recently I heard from someone (who is not ServiceNow savy) that there is a feature in ServiceNow called Containers which is not exactly Containers as in Kubernetes and Dockers. It is something like an encapsulated package that you define ACL rules and privileges around so that only a select few will have the ability to see the data in it. It is all for the sole purpose of keeping the data very private due to its sensitive nature. I have looked and looked everywhere, asked around but nobody knows a thing about it. Has anybody out there heard about it? I would be immensely grateful to know about it.
Thanks
Zorro

Hi,
I think the term "containers" was just that, a term someone used to describe this.
In ServiceNow there are scoped applications, which come with their own set of ACLs, etc. and you can limit access to the data in that regard as well.
Otherwise, you can use ACLs to limit global applications data as well if needed.
That's the whole point of ACLs is to control permissions.
