Hi,
How can I make the widget instance visible for ordinary content author when searching this from the Content Delivery form?

Does a widget instance exist for the content type you are trying to schedule?
If not, I would start by creating one before assuming this is a permissions issue.

Yes Aidan, widget does 100% exist. Only user with ADMIN role can see the lookup list. Since we consider this piece a content component, we would like users like Content Author can see this too.
For additional info, this is the URL of the lookup list

Widget instance has a reference qualifier which shows only the associated widgets,
Make sure you have added your newly created/cloned widget under content type ( link or video ) as a associated widget.
https://devinstance.service-now.com/sn_cd_content_visibility_list.do
Where you can view all the content types.
1. Select the content type which is relevant to your new/cloned widget ( eg link )
2. Add your widget as associated widget for the specific content type.
Then you can see your new widget instance under widget instance reference field.
Mark correct if it answers your question.
