At the moment, we are sending 3 Approval reminder notifications, 1st reminder, 2nd reminder then a 3rd reminder, so after a certain amount of time has passed, the reminder will get sent to the approver, advising that they need to approve their assigned task.
Below is part of our flow which shows the first approval reminder setup.
The flow ensures that for example, if the internal user of the case has the French public holiday schedule, and there is a French public holiday today, the approvers will not receive the approval reminder notifications. However, If an internal user was to have an Italian public holiday schedule and there was no Italian public holiday, then the approval reminders will be sent to the approvers as expected.
However the issue we are facing is, for e.g. if a case was raised yesterday afternoon at 17:55 by an internal user with a French public holiday schedule, and the case required an approval and the approval reminders were planned to be sent tomorrow as our working day schedule is 7am-18:00pm. If there is a public holiday tomorrow, no approval reminders would get sent as the system knows it is a public holiday tomorrow. However, when the public holiday ends, the day after tomorrow, the approval will still be required, however the approval reminders will no longer get sent, this is because on Line 7 in the flow below, the flow gets stuck in a waiting state and does not move, the timeout also doesnt seem to be working as expected, as the flow stays in waiting state and doesnt move on. The flow only moves on when approving or rejecting the approval, but we would expect the approval reminders to start to trigger again after the public holiday.
Can anybody please advise how we can move the flow on to trigger the reminder notifications, as you see in the second screenshot we have the enable time out but that doesnt stop it from staying in waiting state.
