Copying/duplicating a existing spoke action

I need to make a change to one of the SAP ECC RFC spoke action which was downloaded from Servicenow store, I have copied that action in the same spoke and modified so that it can utilise the existing connection and authentication, from the best practices perspective is it advisable to do it in the above way.
