Hi Connections,

 

Counter of Knowledge Base articles in ServiceNow does not work as expected?

 

Is there any update from ServiceNow side on this, the counter of knowledge base articles SHOULD NOT BE RESET TO ZERO after updates to an article.  This change was implemented back then. This new setting worked for a long time. But recently someone changed it without any information and we don't understand why. Therefore the counter is undergoing resets every time a KB article receives an update. 

 

It was agreed on earlier that the counter keeps counting, even though the article is updated. This is a general setting that was corrected after discussions and agreement and now without any information it was changed.

 

This is affecting ALL knowlegde base articles so it has to be corrected for ALL articles and we have to make sure that future articles have no counter reset when they receive any updates.

 

How to overcome this issue. What is the OOB Functionality/updated functionality?
