Create a catalog request without RITM and Task.Is it possible?

Hello All,
Can we develop a catalog item, which when submitted will create a request without a RITM and a Task?
Is it possible? If so how?
What are the issues we face if it is possible?
Is it a best practice or even valid question?
Please help me

Like Deepak suggested you could use a record producer but I would not so this. I had to about 9 years ago because people could not understand the whole thing. I would not, it was difficult to undo and there is code in the system to make sure a sc_request record displays in a certain way.
What is the overall need for this?

Can you please share the business requirement for this specific requirement? Because as others mentioned, it's really not a thing to do in ServiceNow tool nor it conforms with ITIL practice. So, in case, if you're looking for some other things, please let us know.
