I created a new view for contacts in the "Form Layout" screen.
However, I'm unable to see the view on the contact list screen.
Could you tell me how to create a new view to be visible on the Contact list screen?

Some exploring over the internet led me to System UI > Views.
I created a new view, assigned the "Forms" and "Lists".
The view now appears in the "Contacts" list.

I believe if view rule enforces view then you cannot switch the view
I am able to create new view in my instance for contact table
