Create Barcode and Store in asset record

Hi Community,

I am looking for a suggestion on below.

Requirement :  Create Barcode for each asset on Asset table and store the images(barcode) on a custom field on Asset table.

I have check community post regarding creating Barcode using UI action and UI page.

However this will be useful when adhoc task but we need to create Barcode and store them in field.

I am really happy if someone can give some approach or documentation to achieve this implementation.

to generate bar code you need to leverage external libraries and once generated you can then store in image field
