My team needs to test functions and processes as we build out our scoped app. For instance, testing the options a user has when a record has a particular status. The conditions required for testing depend on related list and reference column values.
These 'related list and reference columns' tables do not always contain data on dev instances, plus they are in a different scope - I do not have permission to populate them.
If data exists in these tables on a different dev instance, I can sometimes sync the data using a 'test case', but the number of cases and order of execution to sync and re-reference them is complicated and doesn't always work.
Short of waiting for all the other scoped apps to load data, does the ATF have an option whereby I can create 'simulated data' for another scoped app table, applying the rest of the existing BR's and UI Policies?
Or is there a way to use TDM for a solution?
