Hi,
We have created some custom tables in our production instance. Does it fall under Runtime Platform License?
We did not created custom applications just some custom tables to store some data.
Regards,
Pallabi Mitra

Hi Pallabi,
When it comes to licensing, I strongly recommend you reach out to your account team. Licensing policies posted here are always subject to change.
That being said, your best guideline for determining if you are impacted is to ask yourself"
Is this table supporting an existing process we've already purchased (incident, problem, a custom app we are already licensed for) or is it part of a new processes? If it is the former - for example you are just creating some rules to determine assignment groups, then no. It's not a new license. If it is a new incident management system for the legal department, then yes, you are likely going to impact your licensing.
I hope that helps. Again, reach out to your account team to understand the specifics of your situation.

And also as per in our project licencing, I came to know that creating a custom table in SNOW does not incur any licensing costs, until unless you create a custom application for that table.
Thanks,
Arindam

The requirement of a license is not necessarily attached to a custom application. Be careful if you proceed under that assumption.

Hello Pallabi.
the best approach on this is to contact your sales rep.
He/she will advise you in the financial costs.
If you look at this, it seems that it fails under the Runtime Platform License:
