Custom App Admin and Developer set up

Hello All,

I created two roles: customapp.admin and customapp.developer. 

When enabling Application administration checkbox, i get error saying "logged in user must have 'Application Administrator' role.

I did assign myself with customapp.admin role and the role has "Application Administrator' as true.

Please suggest

Maybe cache issue? Try to logout and login.

Tried did not work.

Need one clarification. Do we create custom app admin role first on Global level on first create the application and then custom app admin at custom scoped app level.

Does scoped admin and developer both have elevated privileges?

I created a user and assigned him scoped app admin and developer role. He was not able to access classic app view, had only portal view.

No, you should create the custom app admin role within the same scope not global.

I tried your issue on my PDI and its working fine. Can you check if you have other role under that scope that is application administrator=true

No just one role under the application scope having application admin = true and developer role but that does not have application admin =true.

Do we have to Grant the application-specific admin role to all system-level admin users, initially?
