Custom variables are not saved in catalog builder

Hi, I have added custom fields to the catalog builder wizard, such as approver and fulfilment group.

When I try to edit an existing catalog item from the catalog builder, the values of the fields are not saved and I need to fill them out again. 

Can anyone help with this problem?

Hi gents, i do have the same issue i guess. I also followed the instruction from here: Add a step, section, or question to a catalog item wizard (servicenow.com)

In my case i added an additional question to the wizard which asks to upload an icon for the catalog item. When i create a new catalog item, the wizard now asks me for an icon, i can upload, all seems to be fine. When i try to edit an existing catalog item, it loads all the current values of this item, but not the current icon.
