Dashboard related issue in Production

Hi all, I need a solution for a PRODUCTION(prod) instance related issue. Could you please help.

We have recently done a deployment to prod recently and while performing testing , we found that on a tab of a dashboard, instead of 6 reports, only 2 are visible.
After checking the sys_portal list of the tab , we found that 8 reports are present on the list.
6 of them are required and the other 2 are unnecessary and should be removed on the tab.
But since it is the PROD instance, we cannot delete the reports nor re configure the dashboard tab.
These extra reports are not present on the dashboard tab in the lower instances.
I am clueless on how to delete these extra reports on the sys_portal list in Prod.
I have captured the deletion of the reports from the reports table in the update set in the lower instances.
But on creating the same scenario, merely deleting them from the reports table does not help, we need to delete them from the sys_portal table as the sys_ids are different.
