hello,

 

 

I have an issue regarding dashboards. I read that any user with any role can create them, but after impersonating one user that complained about not seeing the button to create new dashboard, I noticed indeed that the button is not visible for him. How to check why this is the case for that user?

You are correct, a user with any role should be able to create them. Can you confirm that the user who cannot create it has a role? It is possible you have user created ACLs that are preventing someone from creating a dashboard.

Please check any ACL blocking? and I doubt any role can create dashboard.

What do you mean by you doubt any role can create a dashboard? I'm curious, as the Washington D.C. docs that I referenced mention it specifically.
