hello,
I have an issue regarding dashboards. I read that any user with any role can create them, but after impersonating one user that complained about not seeing the button to create new dashboard, I noticed indeed that the button is not visible for him. How to check why this is the case for that user?

Glad it was helpful. I was surprised when I found that out as well, as it definitely seems strange that any role could create one. Also, technically I think if someone didn't have ITIL, unless something was done to expose creating dashboards on the portal, I don't think they would have access to creating dashboards. In addition, if the Explicit Roles plugin is installed, they do have this caveat so I don't think you were totally off base as with these situations, and potentially others, a user with a role wouldn't be able to create a dashboard.

That was my understanding too , that minimum ITIL role is required to build dashboard. but again the screen shot provide more clarity now. Thank you once again.
