I need to know what is this 'Data Source' we found as source type while creating a report.
Do we have any table for this? As we have 'sys_db_object' to see the list of tables.
Once, data source is created, do we need to share with user?
There is one use case that we have to restrict the report creation for some tables and also need to see if they can access the data source related to those tables.

Your data source is stored in the table sys_report_source_list.
The reason for this is, if you share editable rights to a report, then users can edit conditions if the conditions is build directly on the report, but not if they are build into report sources:
Data sources should not be shared with users, only reports should be shared with users.
