Hi all,
I'm attempting to create a database view to only show certain tables and users who have access to them. I'm currently not able to bring back any data from the tables in my database view. Any help or direction would be appreciated

Technically, a user can see a table if they have the required role. So, you first need to find out which role you're looking for. Then, go to the role, and you can see the modules as a related list that will tell you which modules a user with that role can access.

I don't think it's a valid business requirement.
Database views can be exposed as reports on dashboards but what value it adds?
If my response helped please mark it correct and close the thread so that it benefits future readers.

Hi @PlatformPadawan ,
First of all, as @Dr Atul G- LNG have mentioned, you need to investigate with roles does provide access to these tables? Secondly, when you have this figured out, you can just look in the sys_user_has_role list.
If my answer has helped with your question, please mark my answer as the accepted solution and give a thumbs up.
