Delegate approval record in ServiceNow

I have delegated user for approval for one week. When approval record is generated, its generated on my name but my delegate can also approve. Where can I see the delegate user in the approval record.

I believe delegation only makes the thing visible to the delegated user, but doesn't actually STORE a value on the delegated record.

Not sure what are you expecting by delegate functionality, but system will not create separate approval record for delegate user, it only allows delegate user to approve your approval request.

You can't see delegates in approval record, you can see them in user record related list. if you would like to add that in approval record then you can try by implementing relationships.

Hi Khanna,

Your delegate will receive approval requests when they are generated.  Outside of looking into sysapproval_approver or going into the object requesting approval, I don't know of any OOTB mechanism that will show your delegate.

I haven't done this in awhile but I believe if a delegate approves on your behalf, the delegates name will show up in work notes where's the approval assignment will still show up in the actual approval record itself so at a minimum, you will be able to see that the delegate approved on your behalf.
