Developer Sandboxes in Xanadu - documentation?

Hi,

I recognise that this is not available for PDIs, but I'd like to at least read up on this function.

Some of the questions that I have about it are:

  • are the sandboxes are attached to an Application scope, similarly to how ServiceNow's IDE workspaces only support scoped applications at the moment?
  • I still do a lot of work in the Global scope - e.g. Catalog Items and Flows - and being able to use the Sandboxes for these would be great - how do Update Sets work with Dev. Sandboxes? Are they linked to the parent instance in any way, or is it necessary to use App scopes/Git/XML exports to promote work?
  • Is there a single instance available per user, or is it possible to request more than one?
  • Can other users access another Dev. Sandbox instance - and if so, how is this access regulated?

Hi @JeremiP ,

sandbox instance are same like your other instances, you can use your pdi as sandbox.

No, I do mean "developer sandboxes" which were supposed to be released with Xanadu:

Hi @JeremiP

I think you are talking about an instance which is given by SN to the client/ partner for research/ POC / demo which we call sandbox.
