Hi Ganesh,
Please find below.
Closed Complete: the project is finished and all tasks are complete.
- Closed Incomplete: the project is finished, but tasks remain unfinished.
- Close Skipped: the project was abandoned.

I Realize this was 5 years ago...I just happen to be starting to use ServiceNow in our company now.
I am looking for servicenow documenation on the expeted/intended behavior of the state on a give task. For Example, we have "complex workflows" that have multiple tasks that get executed. I expected the 'Closed Skipped' to be used when a single (of many in the flow) task was not required. Unfortunately, it seems that 'Closed Skipped' or any 'Closed' state cancels the entire request item and does not allow the workflow to continue to the next task in the progression.
Is this a ServiceNow behavior or one that our company may have modified during implementation?
Thanks
