I'm currently an intern on a project, and I've been asked to work with the Quote Management OOB application.
My question is: Do I need to review the out-of-the-box (OOB) scripts (such as Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Business Rules) that come with the plugin to effectively work with Quote Management, or is it sufficient to understand the Quote Management workflow?
There are quite a lot of OOB Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Business Rules included with the application. If reviewing them is important, what is the best approach to understanding them without getting overwhelmed? Should I focus on specific scripts or follow a particular learning strategy?
Thanks for help

Hi @brandonlab2 ,
You don't need to go through OOB Script Includes, Client Scripts, and Business Rules included with the application as of ow, unless you want to specifally want to know more as how it's been configured.
To Start with you need to know Quote Management Lifecycle then use the application as a end user not an admin, this would help you to understand Quote Management OOTB application.

Also, is it okay for a fresher with 4-5 months of experience with platform knowledge to directly jump into Quote and sales application?

Thanks for replying . In my case, the project is done by another team, I am asked to work on it for my training. They had provided a document that includes only minimal data- they added additional fields to the OOB quote tables and also used OOB scripts as well as custom ones. They have provided the list of scripts used with the description(not the script).
