Document intelligence error - Failing to process PDFs in document tasks

Document Intelligence is failing to process certain PDF attachments. Instead of generating a Document Intelligence task, the following errors appears:

 

-Warning Message: Attachment.pdf of content type: application/octet-stream not supported.

 
-Error message: No valid document types attached to task.

Because of this, some PDFs are being ignored and no task is created.

 

Question
Has anyone dealt with this error before and has a solution? Thanks

Good morning,

 

Did you manage to figure this out as I'm having the same problem with a word document?

 

Attachment Engagement-Form-2024 V2 XXX.docx of content type: application/vnd.openxmlformats-officedocument.wordprocessingml.document not supported. 
No valid document types attached to task.

Hi yes, but your error appears to be different from mine, yours indicates it failed a word document, which is correct as word and excel file are not supported. Only PDF and images are supported.
