Dropdown without "None" must specifiy a default value

Hi,

Is there a way on how to remove the option None from choice list if there must not be a default value for that field. Also for report purpose, they dont want to see the option "None".

The purpose of "None" is to cover the default value. If you don't want "None," you need to modify the choice as shown below and then add the default value.

that's how the OOTB behavior is

If you don't have None and don't provide any Default value then system picks the 1st choice with lowest sequence number as Default

That's the expected behaviour.
The choice type field must have a default value (if you don't want the 'None' option), or it must include the 'None' option. It cannot be configured to have neither a 'None' option nor a default value.
