As anyone been able to, seen the need to.... add a "due date" field to the Personal Tasks of a Task Board?

Going to submit an Enhancement Request to the team, but wondering what you are all doing in the meantime?

Idea Description

THIS ISN'T "SOCIAL" THIS IS CATEGORY VTB: On Visual Task Boards you should be able to add a due date to Private Tasks. Managing and assigning your teams tasks through freeform visual task boards is very powerful and the user community wants as a high priority. However you can't assign a due date to these Private Tasks. Users are feeling very let down. Yet, I created a report based on the Private Task table, and added Due Date to the report, because this is based on the task table, yes? Why can't "Due Date" just be exposed on Private Tasks as it seems to already be "there".

Business Case

The user community is very excited for VTB's, yet as I role them out through pilots, the community is extremely let down when they see there is no date assignment possible. The private tasks are fantastic, and show up in My Work, but without being able to know the Due Date for these tasks that you say, get assigned from your Manager... it's not very effective.

Use Case

As with all the other "work" that users have in there queue's; this will be able to be looked at within your priorities and due dates of ALL work.

See? It's right there!   Can't we just expose that on the Private Tasks?

Yes you can we have it on our Private Tasks for our VTB's because we have it on ours and I personally added it. You just configure the form layout/design like you would any other form.

Here is the next challenge for VTBs, can we order the tasks by due date, priority, etc?

Sorry to resurrect an old post, but has there been any movement on this? I'm looking to do the same thing. Why would Due Date not be a default item for VTB task items?!
