Hi,
I want to know if it's possible to edit field or multiple fields (list edit to modify some requests at the same time) in a Database view.
When I try to edit a cell, a pop-up "Security prevents writing to this field" appears.
Can someone give me some information about this and how to proceed ?
Thanks a lot.
David

Hi David,
On which table you are editing this? An ACL is preventing you to edit it. If you have to do it, then deactivate the ACL, update the multiple records and activate the ACL again.
Thanks,

Hi Sunil,
I'm in a Database View that we've created.
I would like to edit some cells to update the field's value on the list, without going into the form.
I'm able to do this on a regular table but not in our DB view.

Database views are only meant for reporting and cannot be edited.
