Edit Service Portal header menu items

Hi guys,

I think I'm missing something blatantly obvious but I cannot find how to edit header menu items in Service Portal. For example, I would like to change the header menu item 'Knowledge' to say Knowledge base' and wondering how to do that

Go to Service Portal --> Menus and find the menu where Title is SP Header Menu.

Select the page under the designer and click on "edit page properties" on the top right as the screenshot

You will have a menu like this

Change it over there.

Thanks, Mohamed. I was referring to the main menu in header but this one will come in handy later on.

Thanks guys!



I've checked the Service Portal --> Menus section before I raised the query but couldn't find the option to edit any menu item until I scrolled all the way down to 'instances' tab and then to SP Header Menu (did just now). Not sure if you get a different view to mine though.

One more way to edit header menu items in Service Portal: the usage of Service Portal Configuration (Service Portal > Service Portal Configuration). It contains the header menu item Portal Tables. One should click on it and choose Instance with Menu.

One will see and be able to edit the same information like from Service Portal > Menus:

One can click on Menu Items (see Related Lists on the picture above), choose an item and to edit, for example, the Server Script of the corresponding menu item

or one can click on the New button to create new menu item.
