Email Client template- CSS

Hi Team,

We are using email layout with CSS, this is used in all our notifications. I wanted to understand how do I use the same layout for the email client templates?

I couldn't figure out a way of using CSS in email client template. Has anyone tried it?

So this is what I tried:

1. I copied the html source of my notification's email layout. 

2. Pasted this in my email client template.

But it didn't work properly. (not sure why, I could be wrong, you can try if it works in your case)

So I ended up replicating the layout by adding tables manually and copying the background color from the email layout.
