Email not triggered for new reocrds

Hello All,

I am facing a strange situation where I configured a notification to trigger. The notification is working correctly on update but on insert it is snot generating emails. Even if only insert check box is checked , then also no email generated. 

Only working on update.

Please guide on this issue.

Can you add as screenshot of your notification, it's conditions, and its content tab?

Try setting the weight to 0. You may have other notifications that are being sent instead of this one. Setting it to 0 will ensure it will not be set to ignored in favor of another notification.

This could be something to do with the body of the notification and not the trigger conditions. Does the notification contain any mail scripts in the template or body? If so, have you checked the syslog table for issues on the few seconds around the time the incident was inserted? It might be worth checking this anyway but it's unlikely there will be issues with the Notification triggering if there are no scripts involved with it.

 

I assume the 'Weight' of this notification is 0? That could also stop it firing on insert and not update, depending on how the other notifications are configured
