Employee Center Quick Links Not Showing Up On Mega Menu

We have a portal where I am trying to add some quick links to the taxonomy. In this case I am adding in "System status" however that is not coming up on the mega menu of the portal.
When I go to the "Advanced Portal Navigation" I clicked on the "Sync Hierarchy" to pull in any new changes to the taxonomy, but I end up getting a "Sync complete - everything is up to date, no new changes detected."
When I do click into the "Topic" I don't see the "System status" listed under the "Quick Links"
It is only when I manually add in the "System status" into the "Topic", that is when it will show up on the mega menu.
My question is, is this a bug that ServiceNow is aware of ? The idea of creating the same record twice, I am sure is not by design.
Is there a work around to have the quick links created under the taxonomy to be auto sync under the advanced portal navigation?
BTW, our instance is current on Washington DC.

Hi,
I have noticed if using Advanced Portal Navigation, you need to manually add the Quick links and it doesn't sync.
To add the Quick links
- Navigate to your Advanced Portal Navigation record
- On the lower half of the page, you will find the Menu items. Select the Menu Item you want to place the Quick link under.
- Click on the 'Quick Link' tab and click on the New button and add your Quick links.

Yeah but it still doesn't show up in the APN.
