Employee Center search is showing all KB article eg. retired, published, draft etc.
Condition looks fine as it's out of the box.
Please assist so that only published with 'valid to' date greater than equal to today is searchable in ESC portal.
Thanks
Ravi

Hi @Ravi Gupta1
If the search configuration is not modified further from OOTB, then the search should display only published and valid articles. You can look at the condition configured in the Search Sources.

Hi @Ravi Gupta1 ,
you need to find the ESC Portal – Knowledge Base search source record (or equivalent). In that record Condition field, add something like:
workflow_state = ‘published’^valid_to >= javascript:gs.nowDateTime()^active = trueThen make sure that this search source is included in the ESC Default Search Profile so it’s applied when users search in ESC. Next, if you are using AI Search / Zing Search, review the source index record for that search source and remove or comment out any taxonomy / topic filtering logic that limits results to only those tied to a Topic (ESC by default enforces taxonomy filters on KB)....If necessary, clone or override the ESC search / typeahead widget (or the kb_search widget) and ensure that the query sent to the server respects the same filters (published, valid_to ≥ today) rather than defaulting to an unconstrained search. Also clear portal cache and test in incognito mode, since cached widget behavior sometimes hides changes.....
If you found my response helpful, please mark it as ‘Accept as Solution’ and ‘Helpful’. This helps other community members find the right answer more easily and supports the community.
