Enable List Edit on List Configuration cannot be specified to a single List?

Hi everyone,

I'd like to prevent editing of records in a specific Related List using the "Enable list edit" feature in the "Personalize list" gear. However, doing so disables the ability of all other lists in the form to edit records from the list. Is it possible to specify this configuration for each list individually?

HI Mattiasaggin,

Please use the below steps for single or specific List editing option

Related List Level:

  • Right-clickon any column header within the related list.
  • Select Configure > List Control.
  • Look for options like "Omit Edit button" (ensure it's unchecked) or similar settings that control the visibility of the "Edit" button or inline editing capabilities for that specific related list.

Hi @mattiasaggin , If you're using the "Enable list edit" option from the "Personalize list" gear, it applies to all the list and doesn’t allow targeting a specific list. However, you can try using a List Control and, within Edit Configuration, set the List Edit Type to "Disable List Editing" to control it for a specific list.

You will have to do it at Related list level for the table you want.

1) Right Click -> Configure List Control

2) Disable List Edit
