I am trying to configure encrypting of only certain attachments but I haven't found a working solution yet. I do not want to encrypt all attachments on a table. Restricting the encryption/decryption access to a certain role(s) is not a problem.
This is the situation I am trying to achieve:
- User clicks a UI action on a record
- UI action script is inserting an attachment on the current record
- I need this specific attachment to be encrypted automatically at this point either via the script or based on some conditions that we set in the script and the encryption configuration handles.
- Standard attachments added manually are not to be encrypted automatically (it is fine if users with the role can opt to encrypt here though).
If anyone has done this please share your solution, nothing has worked for me so far. Thank you!
