Entity name shows "Created date time" rather than record title from the table referred

Hello,

I have created an entity type and used a custom table in entity filter. When I open record from a custom table list view it shows me right record title on the top of the form (attached image 1). However Entities (related list of entity type record) shows Entity name as "Created date time" (attached image 2). I wish to see a record name there in the Entity list views. Further when I open the entity from list view it shows me again Created (attached image 3).

Kindly help me tx a lot

Tx all for responding.

All was good except I had to type what I wanted to see in Name field (attached image 3). This is may be because of custom table created. I do understand this could take time if I have long list of entities. tx again all.

Hi @NishONish

Go to "Dictionary" under System Definition and filter using the Table column. Check if any field already has the Display value set to true.
- If a field is already marked as true, set the expected fields to Display = true and set the previous field to Display = False.
- If no field is marked as true, set the expected field to Display = true.

Hi @NishONish ,

It sounds like your Entity Type configuration is using a table for which no proper Display field is defined (or the configured display field is not set correctly), so instead of showing your record title it’s defaulting to the created date/time, you should check the dictionary of your custom table and ensure one of the fields (e.g. name, title, or a custom Label field) has Display = true set, and verify your entity type  Display Field mapping uses that field....

@NishONish Open your table in "sys_db_object" table and set the desired column as display true.

Display value is shown while referring tabl in list collectors and reference variables.
