unable to import from SQL server on the midserver . firewall connectivity is ok. i am using xandu. 

any idea how to fix this ?

 an issue with updating the local account credentials for the MID Server service. The server in question is domain-joined and fully trusted within the domain. However, the support team has expressed concerns that the MID Server is utilized for multiple purposes, and they do not want to modify its configuration in a way that ties it to a single request or solution.

I understand the need to maintain flexibility for other use cases, but we need to find a way to proceed with updating the credentials while ensuring minimal disruption to existing functions. Could you please advise on possible alternatives or best practices to address this requirement?

For orchestration purpose better to create a new mid sever and create a domain account with that user has the permission to the sql server(db_reader) role.

Did you recently upgrade and mid server is having no issue after upgrade?

Try to access the mid server logs and debug
