Error Fetching Transform Function Definitions - Has anyone had this and how do we resolve this issue

Hi ServiceNow Community,

I am working on a customer instance and we are getting several error messages on the console like this:

• Error Fetching Transform Function Definitions
• Error Fetching Suggested Transform Types

This occurs whenever we try to select the (Fx) button, in order to access the Transform Functions, in Flow Designer.

Has anyone seen these issues before and knows what the fix is, to resolve this ?

 The same thing is happening to me on our Dev instance after an upgrade to the Washington release and the upgrade of the (changed to the new) Workflow Studio to the (latest, I hope) Store Application version.

No idea how to fix it. Can't view existing  transforms and one of my flows won't work with the transforms I used previously, had to replace them with inline scripts... pretty annoying.
Just verified the same thing is happening on our Test instance.. Have been searching for answers for this for several weeks.

We had this issue with one of our Citizen Developers. They were missing the roles flow_designer and flow_designer_scripting.
