Error on Dashboard for only one user

Hi All,

User is getting "This widget is a placeholder and will be replaced once a Report widget is created for it" error for most of the reports on a particular dashboard. But for other users its working fine.

Please help me with what is this error and how to fix it?

So what you're stating is, that the same report/pa widget on the same dashboard is showing data for other users but not for this particular user. Is that correct understood? According to this information, I would recommend you to investigate both the SysIDs for the Dashboard (one that is working and the one not working) and also for one specific widget (one that is working and the one that is not working). 

My immediately thought would be, that it's not the same dashboard, but more a copy of the dashboard.

I checked and its same sys ID, and its same dashboard as well.
Also i checked the roles of both users are same.
Not sure whats the issue.

This sounds very strange in my mind. the "This widget is a placeholder and will be replaced once a Report widget is created for it" text you will get, when a blank widget placeholder is added to a dashboard before a report/PA is added to the widget.

Below is from my PDI instance:

So in general, as soon as the widget frame is filled with some specific information, the information should be shown instead of the text.

Do You have domain separation on the instance? Reports are treated as data in domain separation...
