ERROR: The value for mandatory field <field name> is empty or invalid

Hi, 

i have a subflow inside an activity for a lifecycle event for onboarding candidates.

I want this subflow to submit a cat item with fields all populated from the onboarding form and the hr profile.

There's this field "Joining Date" from the cat item (type: date and format dd-mm-yyy) that is giving the same error everytime though I add the data pill with the correct type (date and format dd-mm-yyyy).

In the subflow the field has another format (yyyy-mm-dd) is this the problem?

How can I fix it?

I check the field types of the cat item and the record producer and it's Date.

thanks for the reply.

I don't think that is the issue anymore because if I populate it manually on the "submit cat item" action it shows the same error!
