Greetings All,
Request you to kindly help me to understand how the Exclude Manager functionality is configured within the instance. My requirement is to mimic the functionality for a second custom reference field available on the group form. Thank you!
Regards,
Rana

Hi,
Thank you for the response. As per the requirement we need one reference field on the group form (sys_user_group) called Service Manager. This field would be very similar to the already existing Manager field i.e. the person added to this field would receive the notifications that are received by the Manager e.g. when any ticket is assigned to the assignment queue. Also, we need the Exclude Manager functionality enabled for this field which will not notify the Service Manager when tickets are assigned. We can create a new check box on the group form called Exclude Service Manager, however we do not want to create any new notification and want to utilize the existing ones only. Hence, it would be very helpful to learn how Exclude Manager is configured within the instance.
Thank you!
Note: There can be situations where Service Manager may not wish to be notified, however Manager should receive the notification and vice versa.
Regards,
Rana

Hi @Rana5 ,
I got similar requirement for our project from client side. I am exploring the instance for the configurations of Manager and Exclude manager. But, there is no luck.
And, exploring the community I could find your post here. By the way did you get any solution for this? if yes, Please explain me how could you achieve this.
