Export and import of catalog items

I have created a catalog item in one instance and want to import it in another.

I can export the item to XML (item view: right click > export > XML (this record)).

But how to import? I can import data, but not items.

If you have security admin you can import from the tables directly, otherwise Retrieved update sets.

Be aware that if you export a catalog item there are associated other tables too that cover the variables.

these may need some data exporting / importing as well

I have gone through the above code link , I need to export multiple item.

The code mentioned to export multiple items, doesn't work in chrome . It exports only the latest catalog item selected in the list view.

Is there a way to export multiple item in one click
