Hi Experts,

As i'm moving out of my current company i would like to export all the code which i have developed in the current instance.

Can someone guide me the best way to maintain my code for future use.

As of now i either save them to a note++ in my local machine or taking an pdf export of each script

Please suggest.

If you need to do any version control, I'd go with GitHub or GitLab.

If you just need a simple note, then Evernote is going to be your best bet. Both offer a free license which should suit your needs. I've used both for years.

i just need a repo of my simple code no version control required.

I will go with your choice "Evernote"

Thanks.

I would be careful with doing this. That code is essentially the property of your company.

I cant actually think of a better way of doing this than what you have already suggested.

You could export each record you have created as an xml file. But like I said, be careful and maybe check with the product owner before doing this.

And keep in mind to stay legal ... you would not want to export items you're not suppose to export.

At the end... you can still find a lot of code, answers and support here, in your ServiceNow community!

Thanks,
