Export from related list

Hi Folks,

 

I am trying to see if I can get the export function on related lists. I understand that you can do an open on new window to get to the standard list and export from there however as much as possible I would like to give users the functionality on the related list itself.

I stumbled upon this solution from servicenow guru and tried to apply it however it does not seem to work for me. Am I missing anything?

I do not see the export menu

Note that this Asset table is a custom table and is on a scoped application. I did try doing the same on the global scope and checked there but the result is the same..

you can right click on find_real_file.png and select open in new window. then it will give you the export option

Hi,

 

I believe the "Export" option on the Related Lists (advanced view and workspace) should be available out-of-the-box (OOB) in ServiceNow. I have submitted an idea requesting this feature. If you also think this should be available OOB in ServiceNow, please vote on this idea.
