You can mark the relevant portal pages and widgets as Public, in which case no authentication is required to access them. For more details, refer to the following product documentation articles:

HI @Community Alums
To enable public access without authentication on your portal, mark relevant pages and widgets as "public" in your settings. Ensure clear navigation and security measures to provide accessible and secure information to all users.

Hey Priya1990,

Building an external portal for public access is a great way to go! I wouldn't recommend converting your internal portal directly - it's best to build a separate one focused on public needs, especially when it comes to Physical Education & Exercise Science. Here are some ideas to get you started:

  • Security: Since it's public, prioritize strong authentication (maybe guest accounts?) and restrict access to sensitive data.
  • Content: Tailor content for the public audience. Keep it clear, concise, and user-friendly.
  • Features: Identify the public-facing services you want to offer and choose features that support them.

For specific recommendations, check out the ServiceNow docs on building public portals
