Field decorator is not showing in created incident after deleting the field value

i have created a simple-list modal in the ui builder and feild decorator .When i try to create a new incident the icon is showing in the incident form's configuration item field (icons use: Caller's assigned ci list_). after creating the incident . if i make the configuration item empty and save . i cant able to see the icon that i just created

so during new creation the icon is there although the field is empty.

Next when you save the record the icon is still there.

Now when you make CI empty -> what's happening currently and what are you expecting to happen?

When we save the icon is gone (that' is expected)
After saving the incident and when we clear the Configuration field , we are expecting the icon to show there (use of the icon is to show the assigned ci of the caller ).
But now the icon is not showing .

It looks like some UI policy is running in the background and clearing the field. Try accessing it in the native view — if the issue persists, it’s likely due to a UI policy or Business Rule.
