Field not visible on the incident form

On incident form "Assignment Group" field is not visible to ITIL users and it is visible to admins. I verified there are are no custom ACLs and no UI policies on this field. Not sure what is making this field not visible on the incident form.

Any suggestions?

Do a search on the business rules, UI policy and client scripts tables.  Search for "table is incident and script - contains - assignment_group".   It seems likely there's some kind of dependency for this field to show.  Should narrow things down a bit.  Substitute "script" for "conditions" as required.

Yes, I tried but I couldn't find anything related to assignment_group.

Did you try to enable debugging security rules and check which ACL is blocking it?

also is that field present on the form layout itself for itil view?

There are no ACLs on assignment_group which is restricting the visibility of the field.

Yes, it is present in the form layout for ITIL view.
