Field updates by system

Hello ServiceNow enthusiasts,

 

'Updated by system' just indicates that something has been run (server side scripts, flow, etc) that updated a particular field of a record. Do we have a more strategic approach to see what exactly updated the field rather than going blindly and searching for the field in the script field (In case of BR, script includes etc) and then figuring out the logic?
