Fixed Queries in Service Portal.

Hey guys,

I was wondering if there was anyone out there who had managed to get Fixed Queries working within the Service Portal?

We often use fixed queries in the lists within the platform and they work great however we are now looking at using them in the Service Portal and this is where I come up short. We are currently looking at and using the widget Data Table Instance Definition Filter. We have looked at the code in the widget and found that it calls a number of other widgets down the line. We have made some adjustments but are struggling to get to exactly where we need to be.

We want to replicate the fixed query functionality exactly as it is in the platform where a list of records is pre-filtered and whilst the user can build the filter out further they do not have access to remove the elements of the fixed query.

If anyone has come across this in the past and managed to address it then any information would be hugely appreciated.

Look at my article where is store default query and show results and there is search box to user can search within the result.
