Flow Designer Sub Flow - exit timer

Hi,
I am currently looking to see if it would be possible to have a flow designer sub flow end if it runs for over 1 minute.

I want the flow to start, and keep running. the overall execution should take around 20 seconds.
However, if it runs slow or takes longer than a minute I would like it to stop executing.

The wait for a duration of time freezes the whole script.

I was wondering if there is a field i could update to address this or a script that would potentially solve for this?
