yesterday
Hi all,
I recently cleared the CSA exam, and I wanted to share a few things that genuinely helped me during preparation.
1. Spend time learning through ServiceNow University
Going through the courses and doing the labs regularly helped me build a proper foundation. You don’t necessarily need 6 months, but if you do get that much learning and hands‑on time, it definitely makes things easier.
2. Explore your PDI properly
While learning, observe where each menu, option, and feature is located. Understanding which elements belong under which module/section helped me a lot in answering questions faster.
3. Follow the CSA Blueprint
The blueprint clearly shows the exam topics and their weightage. Focusing on the higher‑weight areas helped me plan my preparation better.
4. Check discussions on the Community
Many people post doubts and explanations around CSA‑related topics. Reading through those threads helped me understand concepts from different angles.
After doing all this, I felt confident enough to write the exam — and it really paid off.
If you stay consistent, get hands‑on, and follow the blueprint, you’ll be ready for the exam too.
All the best to anyone preparing!
Best Regards,
Anjal
