Get catalog variables

Hello,

I am trying to get the catalog variable values on a flow designer using get catalog variable step but i am not getting the values of reference variables but other filed type values are  coming as expected. The flow designer is in a scoped application. Can you please help me what could be the reason as the reference field output is showing empty as shown in the screenshot

Can you share the flow properties? 

When you say flow is in scoped application, does the tables to which you have referred to have access to other scopes?
